Feedback
Sarah who worked with us on an i-Skills4Life course at Alnwick Sure Start Childrens Centre, scoops the prize this month for her very positive feedback:
Just to say, I've cooked the savoury rice three times since my last cookery class, and chocolate pudding twice. My little boy loves the savoury rice, which is fantastic because he's fussy with food. More |
Seasonal Recipes
It's always interesting to come across new variations of old recipes. This tasty savoury dish is adapted for the microwave from a recipe in AgeUk's 'Fit as a Fiddle' cookbook. Savoury Flapjack combines the health benefits of oats, tomatoes etc with the convenience of a snack food and paired with Bean & Tomato soup, which is the most popular in our workshops, it will provide a welcome boost to our imune system. Can you help?
As a not for profit, (though we prefer the term ‘more than profit’), social enterprise, without any direct support from government. We work hard to raise the cash to keep our services delivering in some of the regions most deprived communities. We generate the funding we need through selling our services and by applying to charitable trusts, any support, financial or otherwise, you can give is hugely appreciated. |
